Pharmacist Sherry Torkos, co-author of Saving Women’s Hearts, was in the Washington, DC area recently and stopped by the WLS studios to chat with news anchors about women’s heart health. She explained that Malaysian Palm Fruit Oil, the ‘secret ingredient’ in Nutella and some Smart Balance products, may be good for your blood vessels. Research on palm fruit oil is ongoing because it has promising health benefits in a number of areas.

  2. I’m a nutella user and I too am not aware that it contains palm oil. I guess I’m not much of a label-reader. There are just so many health benefits that we can get from palm oil. Very interesting!
