Most of the palm oil used in the United States is sustainably produced in Malaysia. It simply isn’t the conflict palm oil that harms our wildlife, people or planet.

American consumers are beginning to realize the benefits of saturated fat consumption, as evidenced by the decrease in consumers who categorize coconut oil and lard as “bad”.
Current FDA food regulations only allow foods that are low in fat and cholesterol to be labeled as healthy. This doesn’t align with current nutritional recommendations, including the FDA’s latest Dietary Guidelines.
Palm oil and palm kernel oil are both sustainable tropical oils which come from the fruit of the oil palm trees. These versatile oils, however, have very different chemical compositions and physical characteristics.
