To help cope with the stress of this pandemic, Chef Gerard Viverito told Houston Style readers that cleaning up their diets may help them feel better physically and emotionally. He gave healthy suggestions in three food categories: food with fins, food from the soil and food that’s fun. His tips included using Malaysian certified sustainable palm oil. “Some oils become carcinogenic at high heat. Malaysian palm oil is ideal for fish because it has a neutral, buttery flavor. Plus it’s heart-healthy, nutritious and certified sustainable.”
