Members of the Malaysian Parliament received free samples of Malaysian palm oil-sourced vitamin E tocotrienols, courtesy of Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali. As reported in the Malay Mail, he told the gathering: “This is what should be taken by Malaysians … I have distributed it for free to all members of Parliament, for health purposes.” By doing so, Mohd Khairuddin backed his predecessor DAP Seputeh lawmaker Teresa Kok, who actively encouraged Malaysians to take a spoonful of red palm oil daily because it has good health benefits and supports the country’s palm oil industry.
