Using the wrong ingredients for grilling may do more than add a few inches to your waistline. “I’m actually less concerned with weight than I am with what’s going on under the hood: inflammation that may lead to diabetes and heart disease,” cautioned Nutrition Myth Buster Jonny Bowden during an interview on CBS-TV’s “Better Connecticut.”  Bowden shared his damage control tips including how to make a healthy marinade with Malaysian certified sustainable palm oil combined with spices. He also advised viewers to make sure they only buy palm oil sourced from Malaysia, to ensure it was sustainably produced.
