Houston Style Magazine writer says it’s okay to eat Malaysian certified sustainable palm oil

Just in time for Halloween, Houston Style Magazine ran an article on candy alternatives. Guest author Carolina King wrote, ““One common candy ingredient that no longer needs to spark concern is palm oil,” she wrote, listing major candy manufacturers that use only certified sustainable palm oil. She added that much of that palm oil comes from Malaysia, which is a huge contributor to wildlife conservation.
