We may be used to slathering on sunscreen as we spend more time outdoors, but what are we doing for our skin cells? Appearing on Canada’s CTV, alternative health expert Bryce Wylde said it’s important to protect the health of our cell membranes, and that starts on the inside. “When we’re talking about diet for skin, it’s all about the fats,” he explained. In addition to eating more avocados, seeds and nuts, Wylde advised: “Get rid of vegetable oils. They create really lousy skin. What you want is red (sustainable, by the way) Malaysian palm oil. That’s going to take care of the membranes.”
