Nutritionist defends Malaysian palm fruit oil and saturated fats on NY radio show

“This crazy obsession with cholesterol is completely ill-founded,” claimed Rogue Nutritionist Dr. Jonny Bowden during an interview on WCBS Newsroom 880. The author of The Great Cholesterol Myth explained that misconceptions have caused people to be fearful of saturated fats and to cook with vegetable oils that may contribute to inflammation. Bowden encouraging New York radio listeners to start substituting their current cooking oils with healthy Malaysian palm fruit oil, which is high in antioxidants including carotenoids and tocotrienols. Malaysian palm fruit oil is sustainable and non-GMO.
