Surprising foods that may help remedy common ailments

What’s bugging you? Coughing? Sneezing? Tampa’s 10 News Morning Show helped viewers learn about foods that have surprising benefits. Holistic pharamacist and health author Sherry Torkos told hosts that many red foods have naturally occurring plant pigments called anthocyaninins which are also great for the health of your blood vessels. She added that getting consistent amounts of red palm fruit oil in your diet – through the cooking oil, supplements or products made with palm fruit oil – may help protect your brain against damage due to stroke. It turns out that the right antioxidants may help your brain as well as your heart!
