We’re pleased that culinary educator Chef Viverito let viewers know they can still indulge in their favorite fried foods. As he was frying latkes in Malaysian palm fruit oil, Chef Viverito addressed concerns of cooking with oil by citing some impressive stats. Malaysian palm fruit oil is naturally trans-fat free. It has a fat balance that does not raise cholesterol levels. Bonus: it can cook in very high heat, unlike olive oil.
