It may be hard to keep your diet in check during the holiday season, but it turns out that it is fairly easy to eat good, healthy fats. In a special health news segment, holistic pharmacist Sherry Torkos, co-author of Saving Women’s Hearts, suggests using Malaysian palm fruit oil in your recipes because it has a neutral effect on cholesterol. And unlike olive oil, it won’t undergo any chemical changes if you use it for high-heat cooking.
