Malaysia is a lush, tropical paradise, home to a diverse range of species found nowhere else in the world. Wild on Animals in Wild Lands was so impressed with the story of Malaysia’s rainforests, and global conservation efforts, that it ran two articles to educate its readers. The first gave readers a snapshot of the country’s incredible biodiversity. The second highlighted the work of the Wildlife Rescue Unit under the direction of Nathan Sen, DVM. There’s even a photo of Dr. Sen with a baby elephant. The Wildlife Rescue Unit receives much of its funding from the Malaysian Palm Oil Council.
