Kudos to the Wildlife Rescue Unit (WRU) for saving the life of this tiny Bornean Sun Bear cub, after it was found wandering alone by a villager. The WRU is fully funded by the Malaysia Palm Oil Council and the British conservation group, Orangutan Appeal UK.

The baby bear was severely dehydrated and emaciated when it first arrived. The WRU veterinarian and rangers managed to nurse the cub back to health and it will now begin rehabilitation at the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre. The goal is for this baby bear to one day be returned to the wild.
