KSAT, the popular ABC affiliate in San Antonio, Texas included Malaysian palm oil in a story about how to look and feel your best in 2019. Nutrition expert Jonny Bowden, PhD, CNS encouraged viewers to switch to less-inflammatory Malaysian red palm oil.
Some food manufacturers and suppliers are using highly-processed, genetically-modified oils to replace trans fat in their products.
