Health Radar, a Newsmax health newsletter publication read by thousands of health-conscious people from all over the world, featured palm oil in an article on what to feed your brain. Chef Gerard Viverito, who co-authored “The Healthy Brain Cookbook” with William Sears, MD writes, “Palm oil (has) an excellent balance of fatty acids that can help a person maintain healthy cholesterol levels – which protects the brain as well as the heart.” Viverito also mentions that palm oil is nature’s best source of vitamin E tocotrienols, which may protect the brain in case of stroke and help it recover faster.
